HYGIENE OF CHILDREN, TEENAGERS AND NUTRITION DEPARTMENT OF TASHKENT

The Department of Hygiene of Children, Teenagers and Nutrition Hygiene was organized in 2005, after the reorganization of the First and Second Tashkent State Medical Institute into the Tashkent Medical Academy. Before the establishment of the Tashkent Medical Academy, the Department of Hygiene of Children, Teenagers and Nutrition Hygiene Hygiene were independent departments.

The Department of Hygiene of Children and Teenagers began its activities in 1936 in the form of a school hygiene course at the department of social hygiene. The founder of the independent department and its head was associate professor Subbotin SM, who headed the department from 1938 to 1945, from 1945 to 1961, head of department was prof. Shirokova-Divaev VP, at which the department of school hygiene was organized, and in 1956 was renamed the department of hygiene of children and adolescents. From 1962–1968 Head of the department was Assoc. Lyudgovskaya V.S. From 1968 to 1995 The department was headed by prof. Ismailov M.N. From 1995 to 2012 the head of the department was a professor, academician of the International Academy Shayhova G.I. From 2012 to the present, the department is headed by associate professor, MD. N.J.Ermatov.

Subbotin Semen Matveevich (1889-1948) 

Hygienist, Jew, member of the CPSU since 1918, candidate of medical sciences, professor, participant of the Civil War. He graduated in 1914 from the Medical Faculty of the University of Basel. In 1938 he was awarded the academic degree of the candidate of medical sciences without defending a thesis and the academic title of professor. In the years 1930-1933 – Head. Department of Social Hygiene, from 1938 to 1948 – Head. Department of hygiene of children and adolescents. From 1933 to 1937, he was a professor in the department of physiology, pathology and occupational health. Bureau member of the City Council Health Section; Member of the editorial committee on the Constitution of the UzSSR. Subbotin S.M. headed the department from 1938 to 1948.

Shirokova – Divayeva Varvara Petrovna
(1889-1961)

Hygienist, Russian, MD (1954), Professor (1955), Honored Doctor of the Uzbek SSR. She graduated in 1915 from the Leningrad Women’s Medical Institute. In 1939 he was awarded the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the totality of work. She defended her doctoral thesis in 1954 (Dynamics of the physical development of preschoolers and schoolchildren in Tashkent for 25 years). He is the author of 25 scientific papers on the issues of the sanitary and hygienic condition of schools, the issues of child and adolescent health and their physical development. From 1948 to 1961. – Head. Department of hygiene of children and adolescents. prepared 5 candidates of medical science. Head of SSS Sanitary and Hygienic Faculty. Awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor. Shirokova-Divaeva V.P. headed the department from 1948 to 1961.

(1906-1989)

Hygienist, born in 1906, Russian, candidate of medical sciences (1953), associate professor (1961). She graduated from the Kuban State Medical Institute in 1929. He defended his thesis in 1957 (Hygienic assessment of fats depending on the types of emulsion for children), doctoral in 1967 (Studies of the nutritional value and hygienic characteristics of new fats obtained from cotton oil for nourishing a growing organism). Author of 215 scientific works, 7 monographs, 1 textbook. Prepared 2 doctors and 12 candidates of medical sciences.He was awarded the badge “Excellence in Health”, a diploma of trade unions of health workers.Ismoilov M.N. headed the department from 1968 to 1995.

Shaykhova M.Sc., postgraduate student, assistant, associate professor of the department of food hygiene, 1991-1993 – doctoral student of the Institute of Nutrition, USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, in 1993. -docent, in 1994. – Professor, 1995, Head of the Department of Hygiene of Children and Adolescents of the Second Tashkent State Medical Institute. 2005-2012 Head kaf hygiene of children and adolescents and food hygiene TMA. Since 2012, Professor of the Department of hygiene of children of adolescents and food hygiene.She defended her thesis in 1984 (Hygienic substantiation and evaluation of new combined sausages for public and medical nutrition), her doctoral thesis in 1993. (Hygienic substantiation of alimentary correction of IDA in women using specialized products).The author – 440 scientific publications: she has written 9 textbooks for students of the medical-preventive faculty; 10 monographs, 33 technical specifications for new food products, 3 patents, 12 innovation proposals, 15 SanPiNs, 50 tutorials and guidelines on the hygienic aspects of the justification and development of new specialized products for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia, endemic goiter, the immune system, as well as for the prevention and treatment of viral hepatitis; day regimen, actual nutrition, incidence, functional readiness of preschoolers; conditions of education and upbringing of children, adolescents, students and the public. Prof. G. Shaykhova from 2000 to 2007 under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated directly in the writing and implementation of the project JFPR 9005 “Improving the nutrition of low-income mothers and children in Asian countries”. Currently, flour enriched with iron and vitamins is being developed in the Republic. A law on the enrichment of edible salt and iodine food has been developed. In 2007, the Law on Salt and Food Iodization was adopted and approved by the President. Vinokurov Peter Dmitrievich
(1885 – XXXX)

Hygienist, Russian, Doctor of Medicine (1937), Professor (1938), graduated from Saratov University in 1914. In 1937, the People’s Commissariat of Health of the RSFSR awarded the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences. Author of more than 40 scientific papers on municipal hygiene and sanitation, the development of a number of issues on water supply and sanitation in the city of Tashkent. From 1936 to 1938.-Head. Department of Communal Hygiene, in 1937, head of the department of food hygiene. He was a deputy of the Kuibyshev District Council of Tashkent.Vinokurov P.D. headed the department in 1937.

(1907-1997)

Hygienist, Uzbek, member of the CPSU since 1947, doctor of medical sciences (1958), professor (1960), honored worker of science of the UzSSR, honored doctor of the UzSSR, graduated in 1932 from the Central Asian Medical Institute, defended his thesis in 1940. Chairman of the Republican Board of the Society of Hygienists; Member of the editorial board of the All-Union Journal of Nutrition; awarded medals and a medal for an honorary health worker. Makhkamov G.M. headed the department from 1946 to 1978.

(1970)

Hygienist, Uzbek, MD. He graduated from the Medical and Preventive Faculty of the Second Tashkent State Medical Institute in 1993. In 2001, he was named the best assistant professor of the year at the Second Tashkent State Medical Institute. The author of 170 scientific works: 7 of them are textbooks for students of medical universities (co-authored), 6 SanPiNs, 20 methodical manuals and recommendations, 50 journal articles.He is a member of the Academic Council of the Academy, the Medical and Preventive Faculty and the Scientific Seminar of the Specialized Council for Hygiene and Health Organization, a member of the Republican Attestation Commission for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
